Rain Coast Choir's Summer Spotlight Showcase will feature songs by Wintersleep, Missy Higgins, The Wood Brothers and more!
The Showcase will take place at the Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House in East Vancouver. We are excited to feature special performances from many of our members throughout the evening, as our very own Songbirds step into the spotlight!
RAIN COAST CHOIR
Rain Coast Choir is a non-auditioned, 5-part Rock/Pop choir based in East Vancouver, BC and led by Joline Baylis. We create fine-tuned vocal arrangements of classic songs and current favourites. Over the years, we’ve sung songs by David Bowie, The Tragically Hip, Fiona Apple, The Beach Boys, Neil Young, Bahamas, Fleetwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen and more!
After 2 years away from singing, we have moved into a new rehearsal space at Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House, where we have once again been creating beautiful harmonies together. We can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on at the Summer Spotlight Showcase.
RAISING FUNDS TO REBUILD
We are so grateful and excited to be able to return to singing together after so long apart. As we embark on the next chapter in our new rehearsal space at Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House, we have high hopes that the future of Rain Coast Choir will be brighter than ever before.
It is important to us that we keep choir accessible for all our members. Beginning next season, we plan to offer bursaries for people experiencing barriers. Your support helps us provide more opportunities for people to experience the joy of singing and the gift of connection with a creative community.
